Vegan Food Guide to Boca Raton Florida

Hi! Here it is! The CodeGreen Vegan Food Guide to Boca Raton Florida!

For those of you who don’t know, I moved from Michigan to Boca Raton, FL about a year ago and that meant I had to find all of the best vegan spots here! I was surprised to find that Boca is actually very vegan friendly – YAY! If you are moving here or simply coming here for a much needed vacation, I wanted to create this vegan food guide to Boca Raton Florida for you to make it easier to navigate the healthy cruelty-free options in Boca.

Juice 2U

Juice 2U is one of the only 100% plant-based restaurants in Boca Raton. Not only is Juice 2U all plant-based but everything they serve is organic. The only ingredient that isn’t vegan is honey so if you avoid honey make sure to let them know.

If you are trying to stay conscious of your sugar intake – don’t worry. Their savory menu items contain no added sugar.

They also have a number of gluten-free options in addition to being completely soy-free. I love how almost anyone’s allergy or dietary needs can be accommodated here.

The owners, Chris and Kerrie Lavin, decided to start living an organic + healthy lifestyle in 2011. Chris had previously been living a fast-paced life burdened by alcohol, processed food and poor nutrition. His wife, Kerrie, suffered from thyroid issues and was determined to heal naturally.

They had a dream to provide people with whole food plant-based nutrition and their journey led them to opening up Juice 2U in 2015. Read more about their story here!

The menu has such a nice variety and is the perfect breakfast, casual lunch spot or quick dinner option. The picture above is the berry butter smoothie – YUM! They offer juices, smoothies, salads, vegan burgers, wraps, grain bowls, sandwiches, coffee + tea. If you’re raw vegan, you will have a ton to choose from as well.

Fiesta Bowl – Quinoa, beans, garlic, guacamole, salsa, scallions, seasonal vegetables, Himalayan salt with a side of chips for dipping.

Not gonna lie, right after we were done taking pictures, I inhaled this fiesta bowl…so fresh and beyond delicious.

Artisen Gelato

Artisen Gelato recently opened in 2019 and I couldn’t be happier. All of their gelato is completely vegan, gluten-free and soy-free made without any artificial ingredients.

I am absolutely obsessed – Artisen Gelato fulfills all of my vegan ice cream fantasies.

The owners, the Zavala’s, are some of the kindest, most generous people I have met while in Boca Raton. I am super indecisive and can never decide on a flavor and Paola always lets me try as many flavors as I want. I love supporting small family owned companies!

Lemongrass Asian Bistro

While Lemongrass isn’t all vegan, they offer some great vegan-friendly options. If you are looking for a restaurant where everyone can find something they like, go to Lemongrass! Also, they pride themselves on a unique approach to flavors, ingredients and asian cuisine with their innovative recipes.

I am very picky when it comes to sushi and I can say with confidence that Lemongrass has some of the best sushi I’ve ever eaten. The rice is always the perfect texture, the vegetables are fresh and crisp, and the service is great.

I knew I had to add Lemongrass to this vegan food guide to Boca Raton Florida!

Lemongrass is so accommodating and I time and time again, have had great experiences when dining there.

I like starting with the edamame and then getting a few rolls, my personal favorites being the vegetable roll, the cucumber avocado rolls or the cucumber wrapped veggie roll. Additionally, all are fresh, plant-based, healthy options that are perfect for vegans or vegetarians.

Don’t like white rice or trying to eat lower carb? They offer cucumber wrapped rolls and brown rice upon request.

Isn’t this roll too pretty to eat?!

My little tip: ask for a side of sriracha to add into your soy sauce. This adds some spice and more flavor to the veggie rolls.

If you’re looking for a nicer, sit-down, classy dinner setting while still accommodating your vegan needs, Lemongrass is the place to go!

Can we just take a moment to appreciate the beautiful presentation of this vegan sushi?

Additionally, there are options to sit indoors or outdoors in a stunning covered patio that’s complete with foliage and modern decor. Lemongrass has locations in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton and Wellington.

Also, getting edamame for an appetizer is a great vegan option for added protein to a meal!

Other vegan-friendly options in Boca:

Raw Juce, Artichoke and Vine, Parlour Bakery, 4th Generation, True Food Kitchen, Farmer’s Table
