Oil-free Beet Hummus (Vegan + Gluten-Free)

BEETS + HUMMUS = BEST HUMMUS EVER!

I thought I would combine two of my favorite foods..beets and hummus to create the best hummus ever. Can we also talk about the beautiful color of this beet hummus?! Who wouldn’t want to eat this? It is also super versatile – add this hummus to a salad, a sandwich, toast, eat it with chips or cut up veggie…the possibilities are endless. In addition, I personally love adding the hummus to a buddha bowl, YUM!

This whips up so quickly…once you blend it up in a food processor or blender it’s ready to go!

This hummus keeps really well in the fridge too! You can just store it in a container and have it for the week. Kids love this too (especially because of the fun color)!





Beets are incredible for your health and have so many benefits, the more beets you can add into your daily diet, the better! Beets are filled with cancer fighting antioxidants, folate, fiber, manganese, potassium, iron and vitamin C. Also, beets are great for lowering blood pressure, reducing inflammation in the body, improving digestion and promoting weight loss.





I personally love adding this hummus to a salad or to a buddha bowl. The chickpeas in the hummus add a lot of great benefits as well as fiber and plant-based protein. If you’re looking to reduce your meat consumption or eliminate meat entirely, adding legumes into your diet is super important! Here is an example of how I used the oil-free beet hummus.

My Buddha Bowl: 

  • Quinoa
  • Cucumber
  • Tiny Avocado
  • Tomatoes
  • Corn
  • Dill
  • Spinach
  • Romaine
